How were Warm and Cold Winters Selected? - slide 1

For each of the 12 stations evaluated in this study, the same 30 winter seasons were considered: 1970-1971 -> 1999-2000. At each station, the winters were ranked from coldest to warmest. The data below shows the annual snowfall totals for East Jordan for the 30 year period of study.
